He went forward, the whole of tl mortar. That did and led a charge le leading section of the company not deter him. He pushed another without losing any moment, killed and wounded 12 enemy at that spot. Men intoxicated by the good bag and having been inspired to a frenzy by their leader ran up the slopes to the bunker and delivered a cold-blooded bayonet charge on the position and routed the enemy. Again during the advance on Jhangar, he attacked the enemy with one automatic and a platoon and out-manoeuvred the enemy. He enthused his troops with an indomitable will to win and the men followed him cheerfully giving their very best.
